Created on December 10th, 1990, the Human Rights Tribunal has the jurisdiction to hear and rule on litigations regarding discrimination, harassment and exploitation in violation of the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. Specializing in the adjudication of complex societal issues, the Tribunal is in fact an essential instrument in the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms in Québec.
